Athabasca University Athabasca University is Canada's leading distance-education university, offering a high-quality university education to more than 16,000 students each year. AU is dedicated to the removal of barriers that traditionally restrict access to and success in university-level studies. Athabasca University is nationally and internationally recognized as a leader in open and distance education.

Charles Sturt University Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Australia offers campus and distance education to over 23,000 students. CSU offers some 300 courses in the arts, commerce, education, health, science and agriculture.

Kansas State University Distance Learning serves students who are separated geographically from their instructors for a major portion of the learning enterprise. Printed course materials, audiotapes, videotapes, television, TELENET 2, computer conferencing, and teleconferences and the world wide web are used.

University of Wisconsin This comprehensive and widely recognized web site brings together distance education information and resources from Wisconsin, national and international sources. New information and resources are continually being added to the Distance Education Clearinghouse, which is maintained by the University of Wisconsin-Extension.

University of Guelph The University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada offers distance education that allows you to study at home or in your office, according to your own schedule. There are no classes to attend. Many courses incorporate computer conferencing, e-mail, computer-based quizzes, and the Internet.

Simon Fraser University The Centre for Distance Education program at SFU is one of the largest in Canada, providing degree, diploma and certificate completion opportunities in a variety of disciplines.

University of Waterloo Distance Education, a convenient alternative to attending classes, enables students to complete all the requirements for a UW degree in Arts, Science, and Environmental Studies. Over 250 degree credit undergraduate courses are available.

University of London Study for University of London undergraduate / postgraduate qualifications without coming to London. The External Program from the United Kingdom offers distance learning and independent study at home or through a college. The University of London has 102,000 students, an additional 26,000 students on the External Program.

University of Southern Queensland The USQ Distance Education Centre's online global learning initiatives are recognized as State-of-the-art in international delivery, curriculum content and form.

Canadian Virtual University The Canadian Virtual University (CVU) is a partnership of universities across Canada, committed to delivering university-level programs that can be completed from anywhere in the country or beyond.  Current partners include Athabasca University, Brandon University, Royal Roads University, Laurentian University, the University of Manitoba and the Open Learning Agency.  In total, over 1,500 accredited distance-education courses are offered.
